FlickTrackr started as a physical notebook. After three years and over two hundred movie nights tracked by hand, it became clear that a notebook wasn't going to cut it anymore. Pages got lost, ratings were hard to compare, and there was no way to see patterns or statistics. So we built the app we wished existed.
Movie and Series Tracking. FlickTrackr lets you log every movie and TV series you watch with personal ratings on a 0-to-5 star scale, written notes, custom tags, and the exact date you watched. Each entry includes the poster, release year, and genre pulled automatically from TMDB. Over time, your log becomes a complete archive of everything you've ever watched – far more detailed than any streaming history.
Turn-Based Picking System. Every movie night group has the same argument: whose turn is it to pick? FlickTrackr tracks actual picks and tells you whose turn is next. The rotation stays fair without anyone having to remember or argue. And when nobody wants to decide, there's a built-in roulette wheel that picks a random person.
Local Party Mode for In-Person Movie Nights. Add the people you watch with as local participants. Each person gets their own color and emoji. When you log a movie, assign the picker and add individual ratings for everyone. The scoreboard tracks total picks, average ratings given and received, and genre preferences per person.
Statistics That Tell a Story. Your dashboard shows total movies and series logged, average rating, most-watched genres, monthly viewing trends, and a breakdown of who picks what. The stats page goes deeper with year-in-review cards, rating style analysis, and milestone tracking. It's surprisingly satisfying to see your movie night habits laid out in charts.
Social Features From Day One. Add friends by username, see their activity in a shared feed, and discover what they're watching. The social layer is lightweight – no pressure, just a fun way to stay connected through movies. Like and comment on friends' entries to keep the conversation going between movie nights.
Free to Start. FlickTrackr is free for up to twenty movie and series entries, a watchlist, the Swipe Game for discovery, and one online watch party. Premium unlocks unlimited tracking, unlimited watch parties, and advanced statistics for a small monthly or yearly subscription.
